Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

In our 30 years at our current facility, we have fostered a community-driven church. Our primary goals are to promote community well-being and share the word of the Lord with the world especially in Africa. We achieve this through our Bible project. Situated near the Union Buildings, we pray for the current presidency. Our aspiration is to serve as a guiding light by spreading the Lord’s teachings and setting an example based on biblical principles.

Our Story

Over the past 30 years at our current facility (and 40 years since our inception), we’ve weathered both highs and lows, always giving glory to God. Our journey began in an abandoned boxing ring and occasionally took us to the state theater. Eventually, we were blessed with an affordable location, which we acquired from the previous NG congregation.

Our strong connection with “Kruger for Jesus” allows us to distribute Bibles to National Kruger Park employees. Many of these Bibles find their way home with employees who live abroad in neighboring countries such as Zambia and Mozambique. These Bibles are available in various languages, including Portuguese, Zulu, Pedi, Tshonga, English, Tswana, and more! In addition to distributing Bibles, we also set up fixed tents within the Kruger Park camps for communion and to facilitate church services.

Keeping
the Faith

Doubts may assail us, but faith acts as our shield. Walking alongside the Lord during difficult times is indeed of utmost importance, it brings a profound sense of of bliss and unwavering connection.

Spiritual
Community

Praying in the spirit holds profound significance in our spiritual journey. It serves as a bridge between our earthly experiences and the holt spirit, fostering understanding, empathy, and unconditional love. As a community, coming together to pray in the spirit deepens our connection with the Lord and the Holy Spirit. If you haven’t yet experienced a spiritual language, don’t worry—seek guidance from your leaders or pastors, and ask the Lord to provide you with this precious gift.

Our Mission and Vision

Guided by unwavering faith, our community-driven church has thrived for three decades at our current facility. Our mission is twofold: to promote community well-being and share the Word of the Lord globally. Through our Bible project, we distribute Bibles in multiple languages, reaching Kruger Park employees and neighboring countries. Additionally, we create sacred spaces within the park for communion and worship. May our efforts continue to illuminate lives and inspire others through biblical principles.

At Deo Gloria, our purpose is to guide our community in recognizing and serving the Lord, giving Him all the glory. We cherish our small to medium-sized congregation, focusing on quality over quantity. Through outreach programs, we aim to reach those in remote and rural areas. As we grow, we prioritize nurturing our youth, equipping them with the spiritual armor needed to inspire positive change in the world.
